Set late in Season Two of the Buffy timeline. Still mourning the loss of Jenny Calendar, Giles develops a plan to change the past and “fix” the present. Concerned that he is slipping off the deep end after attempting to kill Angel, But tries to talk him out of it. Her interference triggers his spell—Jenny is alive again and Angel even has his soul—but Buffy and Giles must decide whether to accept this new reality, and its darker side, or to undo the spell.

This script was written after the cancellation of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. Every effort was made to fit it into the existing timeline—a more difficult task than you might imagine. Please pardon the minor liberties we may have taken with the "Buffyverse."
